It was a rainy Saturday afternoon for Jason & Alexis' wedding. It poured during their indoor ceremony and it poured during their indoor reception. But in between, when it came time to do portraits, the rain let up and the skies cleared just enough to give us some perfect light and crowd-free locations on the National Mall. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Family and friends ate, drank, and danced at the Westin Arlington Gateway. And friends who weren't there were even there! A friend serving abroad in the military sent a life-size cardboard cutout of himself.
Despite the rain, it was a perfect day for two wonderful people!
