DC has a lively and exciting food truck scene and Kirk Francis is right in the center of it. His very popular Captain Cookie and the Milkman truck, selling ice cream sandwiches along with cookies and milk, has experienced enough cookie demand to justify a second truck. Erin and I were lucky enough to get some time with Kirk before his late night dough mixing session and a day before Cookie 2 hit the streets.
We tried to make some portraits that would be good for promotion, but we also took some silly ones (at the end) with Kirk's giant 5 horsepower mixer and with Erin looking like a crazy person. Kirk baked during the shoot and we ate a ton of cookies that night!
