Bluemont Vineyard sits on a hill pretty close to where West Virginia juts in toward Virginia and has an amazing view of the plateau that stretches toward Washington DC. Thadd and Stephanie had their wedding ceremony on a lawn, facing this vista and their reception in the stables that had been converted to a rustic looking party site. The rain held off until we were just finishing up the bridal photos—we ended that part on an old covered bridge that looked really cool, but also kept us dry for a little longer.

The wedding was beautiful and a lot of thought had been put into the details. But you could tell that the people in attendance were the most important part to Thadd and Stephanie. The love and admiration that their friends and family have for them was the theme of the night.

Josh, my intern until he leaves for university, was a huge help on this one. Not only did he assist me with lighting and equipment all day but he took loads of video during the whole event. Hopefully that will be something we post up soon. We had 5 cameras running throughout the day, two video cams, one for time lapse, and two for stills. And now I have around 100GB of media files to sort through!
