Erin did some research and found that there are some sunflower fields not too far away from DC, just past Potomac, MD. We took some cameras on our trip just to play. Erin wanted to get some interesting video and I wanted to try some Brenizer Method portraits—a way of stitching photos together to exaggerate shallow depth-of-field. The first three images use this technique and I think they look pretty cool!
I am a California photographer who transplanted myself to Washington, DC for a change in scenery. Not that the scenery in California is all that bad—but I'm hungry for new experiences, ideas, and inspiration. To see a complete portfolio go to http://www.nicholasdonner.com.
