Courtney and Steve were married at
Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard in Charlottesville, Virginia. We saw a spectrum of weather, from bright sun to puffy clouds to a full on rain storm with thunder and lightning. No matter the weather, Pippin Hill is a beautiful spot for photos with a wonderful view of rolling hills and vineyards, large window lit indoor spaces with high ceilings, and cool patio spaces. Courtney and Steve were soooo laid back on their wedding day—not a worry in the world! I'm sure part of that was the planning and stressing they did before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect for their guests. This fun-loving and carefree attitude came through in their photos. The couple is from San Diego, as were some of their guests, so it was nice for me to have some SoCal people to hang with all day.
I worked with some awesome other people on this wedding, for one,
Erin second shot and did a great job catching some special moments. Amanda Gray from
Ashley Baber Weddings coordinated everything very well and helped set me up to get good shots. And the band,
The Dickens was super fun and they had a great range of songs that made people want to dance. I hope to work with these folks and at Pippin Hill again soon!
Was a plesure working with you Nick! The images are great!!
